Esther a quitté la France il y a quelques mois pour finir ses études, aujourd'hui sous le charme de ce pays elle a décidé de rester pour commencer sa vie professionnelle. En attendant elle joue le rôle de guide pour ses amis français de visite dans ce pays haut en couleurs !

MEXICO EN QUELQUES MOTS

Le DF est tellement immense que je n'aurai la prétention de dire que je le connais bien. C'est une ville bouillante qui comporte de nombreuses facettes. J'aime Mexico la devote aux deux basiliques, la fêtarde aux boites branchées, mais surtout j'aime Mexico la gourmande des petits stands de tacos au grands restaurants.

QU'EST CE QU'IL FAUT VOIR ?

• La maison de Frida Khalo, appelée Caza Azul, vous la trouverez dans le jolie quartier de Coyoacan.
• Le musée Sumaya, pour avoir un aperçu de l'impressionnante collection de Carlos Slim.
• La Torre Latino, dans le centre historique, pour une vue a 360° sur la ville.
• Le Zocalo, aussi dans le centre historique est considéré comme l'une des plus belle place au monde.
• Xochimilco, pour un week end entre amis.

LA MEILLEURE SAISON POUR VISITER ? 

Mars - Avril, les arbres sont en fleurs et les températures sont agréables.

OU DÉJEUNER ?

Le Flora, dans la Condesa, petit menu calqué sur le modèle mexicain, les plats sont aussi savoureux qu'originaux.

OU PRENDRE UN THÉ/CAFE ?

Le Rococo, au Parque España, toujours dans la Condesa, les gâteaux maison sont toujours plus étonnant et savoureux chaque jour.

OU PRENDRE L'APERO ?

Le Botellon sur Tamaulipas, on y va pour sa terrasse verdoyante en dernier étage, ses tapas de qualité et son bon rapport/prix.

POUR DÎNER ?

Marchez le long de la rue Campeche, dans la colonie la Condesa, vous trouverez plusieurs bons restaurants dont le Patagonia pour des saveurs argentines, le nouveau restaurant italien Cuccina Italia et bien d'autres !

OU DORMIR ?

Je vis en collocation dans un grand appartement où je reçois mes amis. Je n'ai donc pas pu ou fait tester d'hotel pour le moment.

ET LE WEEK END ON FAIT QUOI ?

On se rend avec une quinzaine d'amis à Xochimilco, sur place on loue une barque, et on se laisse aller au grès des canaux, de la musique des Mariachis et des doux fumets des tacos ambulants.

Allez à Coyoacan, manger une glace et écouter les musiciens ambulants, visiter le musée Frida Khalo et boire un "pulquet" en terrasse.

QUELS SONT TES QUARTIERS PRÉFÈRES ?

• Coyoacan, pour son côté artiste et animé.
• Polanco, pour son côté classe et ses chouettes musées.
• La condesa, dont je ne me lasse pas de découvrir les bars et restaurant.

DES BOUTIQUES ?

Plutôt des marchés pour rapporter quelques souvenirs.
Mercado de Ciudadela proche du centre historique ou le Mercado artesanal de Coyoacan.

OU SORTIR ?

• Mercredi, salsa au pata negra avec musique en Live. *La Condesa
• Vendredi au Patrick Miller, club plus ou moins clandestin, avec une ambiance incroyable. *La Roma
• Samedi à l'impérial, musique live, bon cocktails et déco sympa. *La Roma

POUR SE CULTIVER ?

• Les expos temporaires et les peintures murales du musée de Beaux-Art.
• La fabuleuse collection du musée Sumaya.
• Le "Castillo de Chapultepec" pour avoir un bon panorama sur l'histoire mexicaine et profiter de la vue du chateau.

POUR FAIRE DU SPORT ?

Jogging sur la calle Amsterdam, la seule rue ronde de Mexico

AUTOUR DU DF ?

• Tehotiuacan, à ne surtout pas manquez, des pyramides et une perspective à couper le souffle.
• Queretaro, le lieux idéal pour une escapade en amoureux le temps d'un week end.
• Tepoztlan, un des "pueblo magico" surplombé d'une pyramide qui vaut le détour.

DF IN FEW WORDS

DF is so huge that I will pretend to say that I know him well. It is a lively town that has many facets. I love Mexico the religious of the two basilicas, the party city with trendy clubs, but mostly I love the greedy Mexico with little tacos stands to great restaurants.

WHAT TO SEE ?

• The house of Frida Kahlo called Caza Azul, you will find it in the beautiful district of Coyoacan .
